【摘要】:1EquipmentcoveredbythisstandardThisstandardisapplicabletomains-poweredorbattery-poweredinformationtechnologyequipment,includingelectricalbusinessequipmentandassociatedequipment,withaRATEDVOLTAGEnotexceeding600V.Thisstandardisalsoapplicabletosuchinformationtechnologyequipment:-designedforuseastelecommunicationterminalequipmentandTELECOMMUNICATIONNETWORKinfrastructureequipment,regardlessofthesourceofpower;-designedandintendedtobeconnecteddirectlyto,orusedasinfrastructureequipmentin,aCABLEDISTRIBUTIONSYSTEM,regardlessofthesourceofpower;-designedtousetheACSUPPLYasacommunicationtransmissionmedium(seenote4ofclause6andnote3ofclause7).Thisstandardspecifiesrequirementsintendedtoreducerisksoffire,electricshockorinjuryfortheOPERATORandlaymanwhomaycomeintocontactwiththeequipmentand,wherespecificallystated,foraSERVICEPERSON.Thisstandardisintendedtoreducesuchriskswithrespecttoinstalledequipment,whetheritconsistsofasystemofinterconnectedunitsorindependentunits,subjecttoinstalling,operatingandmaintainingtheequipmentinthemannerprescribedbythemanufacturer.Examplesofequipmentwhichisinthescopeofthisstandardare:NOTETherequirementsofIEC60065mayalsobeusedtomeetsafetyrequirementsformultimediaequipment.SeeIECGuide112,Guideonthesafetyofmultimediaequipment.Thislistisnotintendedtobecomprehensive,andequipmentthatisnotlistedisnotnecessarilyexcludedfromthescope.Equipmentcomplyingwiththerelevantrequirementsinthisstandardisconsideredsuitableforusewithprocesscontrolequipment,automatictestequipmentandsimilarsystemsrequiringinformationprocessingfacilities.However,thisstandarddoesnotincluderequirementsforperformanceorfunctionalcharacteristicsofequipment.2AdditionalrequirementsRequirementsadditionaltothosespecifiedinthisstandardmaybenecessaryfor:-equipmentintendedforoperationinspecialenvironments(forexample,extremesoftemperature;excessivedust,moistureorvibration;flammablegases;andcorrosiveorexplosiveatmospheres);-electromedicalapplicationswithphysicalconnectionstothepatient;-equipmentintendedtobeusedinvehicles,onboardshipsoraircraft,intropicalcountries,orataltitudesgreaterthan2000m;-equipmentintendedforusewhereingressofwaterispossible;forguidanceonsuchrequirementsandonrelevanttesting,seeannexT.NOTEAttentionisdrawntothefactthatauthoritiesofsomecountriesimposeadditionalrequirements.3ExclusionsThisstandarddoesnotapplyto:-supportequipment,suchasairconditioning,firedetectionorfireextinguishingsystems;-powersupplysystemswhicharenotanintegralpartoftheequipment,suchasmotor-generatorsets,batterybackupsystemsandtransformers;-buildinginstallationwiring;-devicesrequiringnoelectricpower.note:1)AlistofinformativereferencesisgiveninannexQ:"Bibliography".
