【摘要】:Thistestmethodestablishestheproceduretobeusedtomeasuretheforcenecessarytodrawanarcherybowfrombraceheighttothefulldrawposition,andtheholdingforcenecessarytoretainthebowstringwhenthebowislet-downfromfulldrawtobraceheight.Theforcevaluestakenatincrementsofdrawlengtharethenplottedversusdrawlengthusingrectangularcoordinates.Theresultingcurvesareknownastheforce-drawcurveandthelet-downcurve.Theforce-drawcurveisusedtodeterminetheenergythatthelimbsofthebowstorewhenitisdrawn.Theareaunderthecurvebetweenthepositionsofbraceheightandfulldrawcanbeexpressedasstoredenergy.Thelet-downcurveisusedtodeterminetheenergyrequiredtorestrainthebowstringasthebowislet-downfromfulldrawtobraceheight.Theenergyrepresentedbytheareaunderthecurvecanbesubtractedfromthestoredenergyinordertoestablishthestatichysteresisofthebowsystem.1.1Thistestmethodcoverstheproceduretobeusedtodeterminetheforce-drawandlet-downcurvesforarcherybows.1.2Thevaluesstatedininch-poundunitsaretoberegardedasthestandard.TheSIunitsgiveninparenthesesareforinformationonly.1.3Thisstandarddoesnotpurportallofthesafetyconcerns,ifany,associatedwithitsuse.Itistheresponsibilityoftheuserofthisstandardtoestablishappropriatesafetyandhealthpractices,anddeterminetheapplicabilityofregulatorylimitationspriortouse.
