【摘要】:Thisstandardshallspecifyminimumdesign,performance,andcertificationrequirementsandtestmethodsforallPersonalAlertSafetySystems(PASS)tobeusedbyfirefightersandotheremergencyservicespersonnelwhoengageinrescue,firefighting,andotherhazardousduties.Thisstandardshallapplytothedesign,manufacturing,andcertificationofallnewPASSincluding,butnotlimitedto,Stand-AlonePASSandSCBA-IntegratedPASS.ThisstandardshallnotapplytoanyPASSmanufacturedtopreviouseditionsofthisstandard.TherequirementsofthisstandardshallnotapplytoaccessoriesthatmightbeattachedtoPASSunlessspecificallyaddressedherein.Nothinghereinisintendedtorestrictanyjurisdictionormanufacturerfromexceedingtheseminimumrequirements.
