【摘要】:ThispartofIEC61300describesmethodstomeasurefastvariationofattenuationduetomechanicalstressesappliedonopticalfibresandpassiveopticalcomponentsduringtheirlifetime.Transientlossmeasurementshowstheeffectoffastmechanicaldisturbancesonfibres.Thesedisturbancescanbeduetoseveraltypesofactiononthedeviceundertest,suchas:dropping,vibration,bumpormanipulationofthefibres.Thereforethismeasurementwillusuallybeperformedondevicesexposedtomechanicaltests.Thismethodisnotdesignedtomeasureveryfasttransientlosses(withdurationlessthan1ms)thatcouldaffecttheperformanceoftransmissionsystems.Itisoptimisedtodetecttransientlossescausedbythemechanicalstressesduetothetestsprescribedinthecomponentperformancestandards,whosedurationisgenerallylongerthanseveraltensofmilliseconds.NOTEGeneralinformationandguidanceconcerningrelevanttestandmeasurementproceduresiscontainedinIEC61300-1.
