【摘要】:Anaccuratemeasureofthedoseduringradiation-effectstestingisnecessarytoensurethevalidityofthedatataken,toenablecomparisontobemadeofdatatakenatdifferentfacilities,andtoverifythatcomponentsorcircuitsaretestedtotheradiationspecificationappliedtothesystemforwhichtheyaretobeused.Theprimaryvalueofacalorimetricmethodformeasuringdoseisthattheresultsareabsolute.Theyarebasedonlyonphysicalpropertiesofmaterials,thatis,thespecificheatofthecalorimeter-blockmaterialandtheSeebeckemfofthethermocoupleusedorthetemperaturecoefficientofresistance(x03B1;)ofthethermistorused,allofwhichcanbeestablishedwithnon-radiationmeasurements.Themethodpermitsrepeatedmeasurementstobemadeduringaradiationeffectstestwithoutrequiringentryintotheradiationcellbetweenmeasurements.1.1Thistestmethodcoversacalorimetricmeasurementofthedosedeliveredinasinglepulseofelectronsfromanelectronlinearacceleratorusedasanionizingsourceinradiation-effectstesting.Thetestmethodisdesignedforusewithpulsesofelectronsintheenergyrangefrom10to50MeVandisonlyvalidforcasesinwhichboththecalorimeterandthetestspecimentobeirradiatedare"thin"comparedtotherangeoftheseelectronsinthematerialsofwhichtheyareconstructed.1.2Theproceduredescribedcanbeusedinthosecasesinwhich(1)thedosedeliveredinasinglepulseis5Gy(500rad)orgreater,or(2)multiplepulsesofalowerdosecanbedeliveredinatimeshortcomparedtothethermaltimeconstantofthecalorimeter.Theminimumdoseperpulsethatcanbeacceptablymonitoreddependsonthevariablesoftheparticulartest,includingpulserate,pulseuniformity,andthethermaltimeconstantofthecalorimeter.1.3Adeterminationofthedoseismadedirectlyforthematerialofwhichthecalorimeterblockismade.Thedoseinothermaterialscanbecalculatedfromthismeasuredvaluebyformulaspresentedinthistestmethod.Theneedforsuchcalculationsandthechoiceofmaterialsforwhichcalculationsaretobemadeshallbesubjecttoagreementbythepartiestothetest.1.4ThevaluesstatedinSIunitsaretoberegardedasthestandard.Thevaluesinparenthesisareprovidedforinformationonly.1.5Thisstandarddoesnotpurporttoaddressthesafetyconcerns,ifany,associatedwithitsuse.Itistheresponsibilityoftheuserofthisstandardtoestablishappropriatesafetyandhealthpracticesanddeterminetheapplicabilityofregulatorylimitationspriortouse.
